This musical adaptation from the original story by Charles Perrault follows the plot of the traditional fairy tale, but adds delightful surprises and comedy. The Fairies’ give wondrous gifts to the king’s daughter on the occasion of her birth. But the king has forgotten to invite the local sorceress to the party. She curses the princess. If she pricks her finger on a spinning wheel, she will fall into a deep sleep. Will destroying all the spinning wheels save the child? Find out as this tale illustrates that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
Tickets may be reserved beginning the Friday, one week prior to the performance. There will be a limited amount of walk-up tickets will be available on-site on the day of the show. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the performance time to take a place in the “Stand-by line.” Program is best suited for children ages 4 to 10 years.
