GROUP SALES FAQ

How many people do I need to qualify for a group sale? Group sales are available for a party of 10 or more individuals attending the same performance, for most of our presentations.

What is the group sales discount? Group sales discounts are available for most performances and vary depending on the event, seating location, and number of people in your group. Premium locations are not discounted, but are available for group sales.

Where can we sit, and will everyone in my group sit together? We can seat your group anywhere in the theater, if the seats are available for reservation. We can also offer your group seats in different sections of the theater to allow for different pricing levels, as long as they add up to a minimum of 10 tickets per performance. See a complete seating chart of the venue.

How do I purchase group tickets? Please contact groupsales@thenationaldc.com or call 202-628-6166 to begin your personalized group booking experience.

What forms of payment do you accept? We currently accept all major credit cards, checks, money orders, and cash. Checks should be made payable to National Theatre Group.

When are my deposit and final payment due? Unless otherwise stated, a deposit of at least 50% of the total payment must be received within 30 days of the issue date of your group sales contract. No reservation is guaranteed until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due no later than 8 weeks prior to the performance date. If a group order is placed within 5-8 weeks of the performance date, then full payment must be received within 7 days upon execution of the group sales contract. If a group order is placed within 4 weeks of the performance date, then full payment must be made immediately upon execution of the group sales contract. Please refer to your contract or speak with a group sales representative for additional questions about deposits and payments.

Is there a processing or per-ticket fee? Group ticketing has a flat rate processing fee of $9.00 per performance. There is no per-ticket fee for group orders.

How will I receive my group tickets? If there is time prior to your performance date, tickets can be mailed free of charge via USPS, or via FedEx or UPS utilizing your own account number. Tickets may also be picked up in person at the Box Office once paid in full prior to the performance. Currently, it is not possible to print group tickets at home.

What happens if we can no longer make it to the performance or need to change our order? You may decrease the number of tickets until the final payment is made, but please note that deposits are non-refundable. If your group count drops below 10, your seats will be converted to full-price single tickets. Once full payment is made, there are no refunds or exchanges; all sales are final. You may add on additional seats after you have finalized your order with no additional service charge. Please refer to your contract or speak with a group sales representative for additional questions about changes to your order.

Do I have to purchase a ticket for the children in my group? Every patron, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend the performance.

Can you accommodate accessibility needs for my group? Our group sales representatives are happy to help you select seating locations that work best for your group. Accommodations must be reserved in advance of your arrival at the theatre, and may include assistive listening devices, narrated performances, interpreter services/captioned performances, and accessible seating.
