Saturday Morning Live! At The National

Out of an abundance of caution, The National Theatre Corporation has canceled all remaining Saturday Morning Live! performances for the 2020 spring and summer season. While disappointed, the safety and well-being of our patrons and employees are of premiere importance.

Please watch this space for updates on the status of our performance schedule.

Thank you for your interest in Saturday Morning Live! At the National.

You and your children are invited to join us at The National on Saturday mornings for a series of free programs that engage and inspire the young mind. Play, laugh, learn, and discover through interactive performances, puppets, dance, and music that are designed to light up the imagination and celebrate a world of wonder.

Saturday programming is best suited for children 4-10 years, but siblings and friends of other ages are always welcome. These performances take place in the Helen Hayes Gallery on the second floor of the theatre. The shows start at 9:30am and 11am.

Tickets will be available to reserve eight days prior to the performance date. The reservation system will close at 10am on the Friday before the performance. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to showtime to check in. Reserved tickets that are not picked up will be released to patrons waiting in the “stand-by line” 5 minutes before the show. Walk up tickets are also available, and will be distributed 30 minutes prior to the start time of the show on a first come, first served basis.  Seating is limited so early arrival is recommended.
