You and your children are invited to join us at The National on Saturday mornings for a series of free programs that engage and inspire the young mind. Play, laugh, learn and discover through interactive performances, puppets, dance and music that are designed to light up the imagination and celebrate a world of wonder.
Saturday programming is best suited for children 4-10 years, but siblings and friends of other ages are always welcome. These performances take place in the Helen Hayes Gallery on the second floor of the theatre. The shows start at 9:30am and 11am. A listing of the current season can be found here.
Tickets will be available to reserve one week prior to the performance date. The reservation system will close at 10am on the Friday before the performance. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to showtime to pick up your reserved tickets. Reserved tickets that are not picked up will be released to patrons waiting in the “stand-by line” 5 minutes before the show.
Walk up tickets are also available, and will be distributed 30 minutes prior to the start time of the show on a first come, first served basis. Seating is limited so early arrival is recommended. All members of your party must be present to receive tickets.
If you are an artist or booking agency and you are interested in performing for the Saturday Morning at The National program, please contact Jessica Cima at firstname.lastname@example.org.
